Box 128 <br />Nucla, Colorado 81424 <br />RE: Bond Release Request, Peabody Coal Company, Nucla Mine, Permit C-81-008 <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />The Mined Land Reclamation Division Ithe Division) has received from the <br />Peabody Coal Company a request for liability release with no decrease in bond <br />amount. The 55.6 acres to be deleted from the tducla Mine permit area are <br />located in portions of the SE 1/4 of Section 25, Township 47 North, Range 16 <br />West of the New Mexico Principle Meridian. These acres are all included in <br />the area covered by the Nucla Landfill certificate of designation issued by <br />Montrose County on December 20, 1988. <br />Pursuant to Rule 3.03.2(2) of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, you are hereby notified that Carl t4ount of <br />the Division will conduct an inspection of the subject area at 8:00 a.m. on <br />Wednesday, May 31, 1989 starting at the Nucla Mine Office.
