The application included the first and last pages (with
parties signatures) of the two purchase agreements.
Here to for, this amount of documentation has been adequate in applications. With this
letter, we are providing you copies of both purchase agreements with pertinent or
confidential items deleted.
The two purchase agreements with the More Family Ranches, L.L.C. are:
1. The Purchase and Sale Agreement of Parcel 1 containing 105 acres.
2. The Option to Purchase Agreement for Parcel 2 containing up to 72 acres.
Lafarge will buy 35 of these 72 acres but only include 23 acres in this amendment
application.
Both agreements are set up in a similar fashion so I can describe the contents in the same
way.
Article II of each agreement defines what we are purchasing of the subject property.
Including the surface land, we are also buying all sand and gravel rights, access into the
property on rights way and easements, access onto any adjoining streets and to the
Yampa River, any improvements on the land, and sufficient water rights to conduct our
mining operation.
LAFARGE WEST, INC.
1590 W. 12th Ave., Denver, Colorado 80204-3410
Office: (303) 657-4000 Fax: (303) 657-4339
nm~m a~ n.gn.a wve.
