Saletta
423 Centennial Bldg. 1313 Sherman St.
Denver, Colorado 80203
Date November 18, 1984
sObject Exhibit E & H
Ammendment M-84-039
Dear Sir;
As the area of disturbance on U.S, Patented Survey # 103, Granger is
located in a natural Rock/Snowslide area, I request that no additional
Reclamation bond be set in regard to this additional mining operation,
due to the following reasons, and supported by the Photographs of the
site.
The base of the affected site is solid rock, in some places, loose rock,
soil, and miscelaneous debris is transient in nature and will not support
long term vegetation of any kind. The exsisting portal was discovered
due to a wash out after a severe rain storm during the 1984 season. In
addition the-Granger is a snow slide area during the winter.
The constant movement of material down the drainage for 1200 feet to the
Animas River at 30 degrees slope does not present a practical area
for reclamation of any kind.
RECEIVED
NQY 9 S 1~~~
^ Please reply ^ No reply necessary
MINED UtNp pEGIAMATIQN 61viS10N
Cdo.
