Even where the <br />surface samples receive laboratory analysis, this water is a composite from <br />several sources and probably does not accurately reflect the ground water <br />component. <br />So far as I am concerned, Trapper Mine needs to modify its ground water <br />monitoring plan for the future. I, therefore, feel we can require a <br />commitment to annually inventory spoil springs and seeps and to add <br />significant ones to the regular monitoring schedule, or we can require Trapper <br />Mine to provide an acceptable alternative future source of ground water data. <br />I recommend we require this commitment before approving the permit <br />revision/renewal. <br />v,~ r <br />4065E <br />
