<br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised
<br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on
<br />September 06, 1989, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to
<br />conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-81-032, by Enron Coal Company,
<br />1200 Travis Street, Suite 575, Houston, TX 77001, was deemed complete for the
<br />purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act
<br />and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting coal mining reclamation
<br />operations at the Meeker Mines located within Section 30, T1N, R93W and
<br />Sections 16, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33, and 34 of T2N, R93W.
<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle
<br />maps of Ninemile Gap and Rattlesnake Mesa. A copy of the application is
<br />available for public inspection at the Rio Blanco County Courthouse, P. 0. Box
<br />599, Meeker, CO. Written comments, objections or requests for an informal
<br />conference on the application may be submitted to, and additional information
<br />obtained from, the Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman
<br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. Written comments, objections
<br />or requests for an informal conference must be filed at the Division by 5:00
<br />p.m., within thirty days after the last public notice in the local newspaper.
