The operator and each objector requesting pa ty <br />status shall attend a pre-hearing conference at the Divi ion's <br />office on June 25. 1990 at 9 a.m. At the pre-hearing co ference <br />each party shall produce five copies of each of the foll wing <br />documents: <br />a. All exhibits proposed to be introduced at the <br />hearing together with.a brief explanation of the intende use of <br />the exhibits and which witness, if any, will discuss the exhi- <br />bits; <br />b. A list of all witnesses who may be cared and a <br />brief description of their testimony. <br />6. At the pre-hearing conference, the pre-hearing con- <br />ference officer may: <br />a. Grant or deny requests for party statu~; <br />b. Issue an order prescribing the order o~ pre- <br />sentation and time allowed each party at the hearing; <br />c. Issue an order limiting the issues to a con- <br />sidered at the hearing to those issues over which the Bo rd has <br />authority purusant to the Mined Land Reclamation Act; <br />d. Issue such other orders as are appropriate to <br />control the subsequent course of the proceeding. <br />All parties are strongly encouraged to submit writ en <br />briefs setting out their positions. In order to be cons'dered by <br />the Board, ten copies of such briefs must be submitted a the <br />pre-hearing conference. It is mandatory that all pantie attend <br />the pre-hearing conference and strictly comply with all eadlines <br />and requirements set forth in this pre-hearing order.
