<br />This modified lease shall retain the effective date of September 1, 2000 of the original COAL LEASE COC61209 and is effective for a period of 20 years
<br />therofiom, and for so long thereafter az coal is produced in commercial quantities from the leased Lmds, subject m readjustment of lease terms at the end of the
<br />20th lean year (September 1, 2020), and each 14year period thereafter. '
<br />Sec. 1. This lease is issued pursuant and subject m the terms and provisions of the Mineral Lands~I.easing Ad of 1920, az amended, 41 Star 437, 30 U.S.C.
<br />181-287, hereinafter referred m az the Aa; and to the regulations and formal orders of the Santary ofthe Interior which arenoworhereafterfn force, when not
<br />inconsistwt with the express and specific provisions herein. ,
<br />Sec. 2. Lessee az the holder of Coal LeaseCOC61209, issued effective September 1, 2000, was granted the exclusive right and privilege m drill for, mine,
<br />extract, remove m otherwise process and dispose of the coal deposits in. upon, or under the lands desrn'bed llelow az Tract 1.
<br />The Lessor in consideration of fair market value, rentr and royalties to be paid, and the conditions and covenants m be.observed as herein set forth, hereby
