Boz 449 D."i,~°n Dlrea°r
Florence, Colorado 81226
Re: Raton Creek Mines (C-82-055) Bond Release Requests, SL-03 and SL-04
Dear Mr. Weaver:
This letter serves as a follow up to our telephone conversation yesterday, August 16, 1995.
The Division has received Energy Fuels' bond release requests for Phase I release of the
office parking area, south facing slope of the coal waste bank, and southern slope of the
substation area (SL-03), and Phase I, II, and III release of the Santa Fe Loadouts No. 1 and
2 (SL-04).
Upon review of the information submitted the Division finds both of these requests
incomplete for the purposes of filing. As per Rule 3.03.2(1)(a) copies of written notices to
adjoining property owners, surface landowners, appropriate city, county, and governmental
agencies and commissions, water and sewage districts, and proof of publication in a local
newspaper of the intended release need to be received by the Division to consider the
application complete.
In addition to parties identified on the mailing list for both applications, the Division
considers that the Baca Ditch Company needs to be notified of the Santa Fe Loadout
request.
Comparison with surface owner list and map 1 in the permit, and section 2.03.4 in the
permit, the Division finds the current landownership information in the permit to be
outdated. Please submit a minor revision to update this section and associated map in the
permit.
