Banta.
Division Director
RE: Updated Culvert Inventory -Technical Revision 50 -Trapper Mine -
C-81-010
Dear Mr. Agnew:
On December 20, 1990, we received the above-referenced technical revision
application. A final decision will be made no later than February 18, 1991.
Please respond to the following comments prior to that date.
1) Please revise Page 4-173, to eliminate the last paragraph. All
culvert installations, made in conjunction with mining activities,
must be approved prior to installation.
2) Your assistance in locating culverts PY-1 and DUC-1 on the maps
would be appreciated. I have probably simply overlooked them;
however, if they are not shown, please add them to revised maps.
3) The previously approved wording in the second paragraph (Page
4-173) indicates that the projected 10 year, 24 hour precipitation
event will not produce runoff. This seems a bit suspect. Please
explain the statement.
Please call with any questions, and thank you for a very thorough submittal.
Si ncerel
~serry
ion Specialist
DAB/yjb
CC: Jim Stevens
2999E
