1
The Trinidad Sandstone Formation is thought to be water
bearing. The Formation lies stratigraphically 600-800
feet beneath the Maxwell ,.seam; thus it is not expected
to be impacted by subsidence.
9) Wells:
Wells are shown on Map 8, Regional Hydrology. None of
the domestic wells lie within the area to be affected
by mining.
10) Stock Ponds
Two stock ponds owned by Basin Resources lie in Section
- ~0; P33~R6'7W-NO damage nor iminu ion in daIue-is --
anticipated from subsidence.
11) Renewable Resource Lands:
1. The Purgatoire River Alluvial Valley Floor (AVF) is
a Renewable Resource area. The AVF lies within an area
of limited extraction and is protected by a Subsidence
Control Plan. No material damage nor diminution in
value is anticipated.
(a)(ii)(B) The Structure Inventory Map, Map-16, shows the
location of all structures known to be located within the
permit and adjacent areas.
of subs
t and adjacent area.
(b)(i)(A) A brief description of pre- and postmining land
use is shown on Map 4 Premine Land Use, and Map 12, Post
Mine Land IIse, and in section 2.04.3 of the permit.
(b)(i)(B) No subsidence is anticipated from mining within
areas of limited (less than 50~) "extraction. Subsidence
monitoring of mining in the--Third North Mains has
documented that no subsidence occurred from limited
extraction mining within this area.
1) Renewable Resource Areas - Alluvial Valley Floors
The projected mine plan for the current permit term is
shown on The Mine Plan Map (Map 3). The Mine Plan has
been designed to limit the extraction ratio to less
than 50~ for areas overlain by the Purgatoire River
and the adjacent alluvial valley floor.
