Long <br />Division Director <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 118, <br />Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on Febmary 13, ] 998, an application to renew an existing permit <br />to conduct coal mining operations at the Terror Creek Loadout was considered complete for the purposes of filing. <br />All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue other coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located approximately <br />4 miles northeast of Paonia. The permit area is fuRher described as follows: <br />Portions of Section 15, Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Bowie. <br />Terror Creek Coal Company has submitted an application to renew, for another five year term, their valid existing <br />permit for coal railcar loading operations at the Terror Creek Loadout. <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Delta County Courthouse, 5th & Palmer, <br />Delta, CO 81416, and at the Division office.
