Long <br /> Division Director <br />Re: Terror Creek Loadout (Permit No. C•83-059) <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 3 <br />Dear Delta County Planning Department: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 118, <br />Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on February 13, 1998, a permit renewal application for a permit <br />to conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-83-059 by Terror Creek Company, was considered complete for <br />the purposes of filing. All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation <br />Act and the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining initiate from <br />this date of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue other coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located approximately <br />4 miles nonheast of Paonia. The permit area is further described as follows: <br />Portions of Section 15, Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Bowie. <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Delta County Courthouse, 5th & Palmer, <br />Delta, CO 81416.
