The t•tining Zone <br />District allows Coal mininy as a use by riyht as well as arcrssory uses and <br />structures. <br />The request indicates that the 233.10 acres or lar~rJ has been mined of <br />coal and regraded to the approximate original contour and re-topsoiled. The <br />area was seeded in conformance to the reclamation plan and Slate permit in <br />October of 1976. <br />Routt County foresees no problems with the request and recommends approval <br />based upon the information provided. however, the County dues request that <br />Colorado Yampa Coal Company request the subject area be rezoned to Agriculture <br />and Forestry due to the co~nplr_tion of the mininy operation on the land and <br />reclamation completed.
