Canany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Tms[ee <br />I am requesting your assistance in the review of the reclamation cost estimate for Minor <br />Revision No. 78 (MR-78). This revision was submitted by Bowie Resources LLC (BRL) <br />for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. <br />In MR-78, BRL is proposing to drill seven gob vent boreholes. There will be about 4.5 <br />acres of surface disturbance including 0.7 miles of new road. Total lineaz feet of the 8 <br />inch cased holes is 11,749 feet. <br />I have not called MR-78 complete yet. The completeness due date is Monday, February <br />5, 2007. Therefore, the decision due date possibly will be February 15, 2007, although <br />extensions are possible. I will be in the field the week of February 5. If I can have your <br />memo back either sometime the week of Januazy 29 or by February 12, that would be <br />great. <br />Attached is one complete copy of MR-78. If you need additional information, please let <br />me know.
