I have no
adequacy comments regarding this application. BRL has an adequate alluvial groundwater-
monitoring network. BRL's proposed new location for AW-l4 would suffice fur monitoring
alluvial groundwater downgradient from the proposed Unit Train Loadout The majority of the new
dtswrbance associated with the Unit Train I-oadout is immediately upgradient from Ihis new well
location.
As we. initiate discussions with BBL, conceming groundwater points of compliance, we :~;k1 lake an
in-depth look at the alluvial groundwater monitoring program a[ Bowie No. 2 Mint' Following
these discussions, we may determine that additional monitoring wells are warranted.
Let me know if you require additional information conceming this review.
c: Sand}' Brown
