- ,.. <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision <br />to approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the <br />Somerset Mine, Permit No. C-81-022, operated by Somerset Mining Company, under <br />the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. <br />The proposed technical revision (TR-24> was submitted by Somerset Mining <br />Company on November 14, 1994 for the Somerset Mine. The affected area is <br />located in portions of Section 31, T12S, R90W; Sections 1 through 12 and <br />Section 17, T13S, R90W; Sections 34, 35, and 36, T12S, R91W; and Sections 1, <br />2, 3, 11, 12, and 13, T13S, R91W, all of the 6th P.M., in Delta County. <br />The subject technical revision addresses modification of the B-Seam mine.plan. <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or <br />may be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br />(10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
