MANAGEMENT <br />Stipulation number 57 states that approval of Succession of Operator No. 4 is <br />conditioned upon the submittal to the Division, within 90 days of proposed decision of <br />SO-4, of verification that the Bowie No. 1 Mine Bureau of Land Management coal <br />leases were successfully reassigned from Bowie Resources Limited to Bowie <br />Resources, LLC. The proposed decision date was September 28, 2004. The deadline <br />for the lease assignment is therefore December 27, 2004. <br />Bowie has no control over assignment process. Bowie periodically calls the BLM and <br />MMS to expedite the process, but so far to no avail.
