Box 783 <br />Trinidad, Colorado 81082 <br />RE: Satisfaction of Stipulations to Permit No. C-043-81 <br />Trinidad Basin Mine <br />Dear Mr. Mills: <br />In reviewing Trinidad Basin's permit stipulation file it has come to my <br />attention that Trinidad Basin i4ining is delinquent in satisfying a number <br />of stipulations resulting from the issuance of the perrnit and approval of <br />subsequent technical revisions by the Division. These stipulations <br />include requirements for: comments regarding the post-mining land use <br />from Mr. A. 'Aiggins, information on swell and post-mining topography, <br />road and pond certifications, revegetation baseline information and a <br />revegetation plan, water monitoring data, copies of NPDES and air <br />emissions permits, and a revegetation monitoring plan. <br />If Trinidad Basin Mining does not adequately respond to these <br />stipulations and resolve them in an expeditious manner the Division will <br />tcke enforcement actions. <br />If you have any questions or need to discuss the requirements for <br />satisfaction of these stipulations, please contact m~. <br />Sincerely, <br />.Michael S.
