Walstrum Quarry. .41so enclosed are selected pages <br />from an Office and Surface Mining Blasting Guidance Manual providing a layman's discussion of <br />blasting effects. Be aware that the Blasting Guidance Manual was prepared for coal mining, so the <br />regulations referenced in the enclosed pages would not apply to the Walstrum Quarry. <br />Once you have had a chance to review the enclosed information and once the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology has some feedback from the quarry Operators on the type of vibration control program [hey <br />will implement, it may be «seful to inspect your house both [o gain an understanding of its location <br />relative to the quarry and to inspect the damage described in your October 2, 1999 letter.
