r <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision <br />to approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the <br />Munger Canyon Mine, Permit No. C-81-020, operated by Grand Valley Coal Company <br />under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of <br />1979. The proposed technical revision (TR-08> was submitted by Grand Valley <br />:Coal Company on July 20, 1994 for the Munger Canyon Mine. The affected area <br />~is located in portions of Sections 27, 28, 29, 33 and 34, T7S, R102W of the <br />6th P.M., and Sections 2, 3 and 4, T85, R102W of the 6th P.M., Garfield <br />County, and Section 3, T1N, R3W of the Ute Meridian, Mesa County. <br />The subject technical revision addresses changes to the permit as a result of <br />a change in the ownership and control of the operation. <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or <br />may be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br />(10> days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
