• • 111111llllllllll 111
EXHIBIT " S "
PERMANENT MAN-MADE STRUCTURES
TRIANTOS GRAVEL PIT, DELTA COUNTY
Man-made structures are as follows:
Two seep ditches & other ditches: The two pre-mining "seep" ditches are on County
property and within the permitted area. As such, they are also within the two hundred
(200) foot wrridor of concern for man-made structures. The unspecified historical use
and undocumented nature of these particular ditches have precluded the ascertainment of
specific ownership. Therefore, these two ditches inclusive of any other ditches located
within the two hundred (200) foot wrridor were mapped, examined, and evaluated for
potential impact by the proposed mining operations per Section 6.4.10(b) of Construction
Rule 6. Each ditch is located outside of the direct mining and/or disturbed areas and any
damage would be highly unlikely. However, each ditch is located so that if any damage
or blockage did occur due to mining operations, such damage or blockage could and
would easily be remedied with minimal time and effort by the gravel pit operator.
2. Delta-Montrose Electric Power Poles: (Agreement attached}
3. 1250 Drive: This is a County Road, therefore any damage caused by Delta County to
this road will be the responsibility of the County to repair in any case.
4. Abandoned Structure: located on land owned by Katie's Kar Wash, Inc. (Agreement
attached)
5. Triantos House: (Agreement attached)
6. Private Road: located along the lower southeast corner of Gravel Pit. (Agreement
attached)
The mining activity will not adversely affect the stability of any significant, valuable or
permanent man-made structure located within two hundred (200) feet of affected land.
However, Delta County has contacted the appropriate owners of such structures (listed above) to
advise them of the proximity of the structures} to the proposed permitted area, and agreed to
repair any damage to these structures if such damage is caused by Delta County.
Al] permanent man-made structures are located on Exhibit "C" map.
TRIANS.DOC - 4 4 -
