Gillis, Senior Environmental Protection Specialist~E <br />RE: Gunnison County, Nicolas Brothers Pit, Permit No. M-1991-104 <br />Please be advised that on July 24, 2000, Gunnison County, whose address and telephone number are <br />811 Rio Grande, Gunnison, CO 81230; (970) 641-0044, submitted a request for partial acreage release <br />for the Nicolas Brothers Pit, Permit No. M-1991-104. The construction rnaterials extraction operation <br />is located at or near Section 2, Township 47N, Range 6W, 10th Prime Meridian, in Gunnison County. <br />Written comments or objections to the release may be submitted to, and additional information obtained <br />from, the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Shem~an Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado <br />80203, (303) 866-3567. Comments or objections should be submitted as soon as possible. The <br />Division is required to wait 15 days after the release decision is made to allow for comments or <br />objections. <br />
