A Notice of Intent application has been submitted for this project and has or soon will
be approved by the Division.
CONSOL, [he last exploration licensee, had rnnstncted (or upgraded) this road to access other drill sites in 1991.
The road is located on U.S. Forest Service (USFS) lands. The USFS has specified that the road be returned to its
current "reclaimed" configuration by constructing water bars and tank traps (large pits), seeding, [hen blocking the
entrance with a gate or steel posts. Locations of these drainage and access restricting sWCtures are to be approved
by the District Ranger (as specified in the USFS Raven Gulch Environmental Assessment, May, 1993.) The
attached map has been highlighted to show the subject exploration road.
'file road will be reclaimed [o its prior configuration (with water bars, tank traps, etc. as approved by the USFS).
Attached are the reclamation bond calculations for reclaiming this portion of the road. Please be aware that these
reclamation costs are duplicated in the general Raven Gulch Exploration bond, as the road on the permit area had
not been segregated from the outside area in any prior application.
Please contact me should you have questions.
Sincerely,
~y oar-,'~ <~~-,<
Kathleen G.
