Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) has finished its review of Bowie
Resources Limited's (BRL) submittal of Technical Revision No. 44 (TR-44) and has the
following questions and comments:
Attached is the Division's reclamation cost estimate for TR-44. The estimate is
comprised of eight tasks and represents an increase in liability of $25,507.00. The
estimate consists of a staiunary sheet and tasks 171 through 177. Please inform the
Division in writing whether or not this estimate is acceptable to BRL.
2. The two proposed gob vent boreholes aze designated asGVB-BUl-C and GVB-BU3-B
on page 113c but as GVB-WBUI-C and GVB-WBU3-B on Map 4-1. In order to avoid
any possible confusion, please reconcile these designation differences.
Attached is a letter from the Colorado Historical Society (CHS) concerning TR-44. In
their letter, the CHS states that a previous survey found no evidence of the existence of
cultural resources in that azea. However, the CHS advises that, if cultural resources aze
discovered during the construction associated with TR-44, work must be stopped and the
CHS must be consulted.
4. The Division understands that BRL is working on a cultural resources survey for the
Bureau of Land Management. Please forwazd a copy of the results of this survey for TR-
44.
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey
