Each culvert shall be 24-inch diameter corrugated steel piping, <br />with no headwall, and will allow a peak discharge of 10-cfs with headwater depth <br />not exceeding the pipe inlet height. Culverts shall be covered by compacted fill to <br />a depth of 2 feet. <br />Ditches <br />Ditches shall be cut on the portion of the light use road that extends along <br />the north facing hillside leading up to the proposed fan bench. The ditches are <br />designed to assist drainage of snowmelt. The north face slope is the only are~~. <br />requiring ditch work to control mud conditions; existing natural drainage along <br />the other portions of the light use road sufficiently prevents ponding and mud <br />conditions. Ditches shall have a 2:1 side slope and shall be triangular shaped., <br />four Feet wide and 1 foot deep. <br />4 <br />
