Russell Means <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: Oldcastle S W Group, Inc., dba United Companies of Mesa County, Anderson Pit <br />(Permit No. M-2005-021) (CHS #45519) <br />Dear Mr. Means: <br />Thank you for your correspondence dated May 10, 2007 (received by our office on May 14) <br />regarding the project referenced above. <br />A search of the Colorado Cultural Resource Inventory indicated that no surveys for cultural <br />resources have been conducted within the proposed permit azea and no cultural resource sites are <br />known to be located within the proposed permit area.
