' CASE NARRATIVE
AMENDED REPORT
' A total of 8 Water/Solid samples were received on 8-Apr-99. As stated
in the chain of custody, the samples were run for the following
~ analyses: A1, Ba, Be, B, Ca, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Li, Mg, Mn, Mo,
' Ni, K, Si, Ag, Na, Sr, Ti, V, Zn, As, Sb, Se, T1, Hg, F, C1, NO3, NO2,
504, PO4, 503, Sulfide, TOC, TDS, Spec. Cond., pH, TICarbon, Alk-HC03,
Alk-C03, Gross Alpha, Gross Beta and Gamma Spectroscopy. A table, to
' cross reference your sample ID to ours, is attached. Our procedures
are summarized on the Quality Control Data Sheet.
Quality control standards for organic and inorganic analyses followed
' the appropriate SW-846 or EPA methodology. Quality control standards
for radiochemistry followed our standard operating procedures or
contractual requirements.
t Some metals results have been determined by the method of standard
additions (MSA) and are flagged with an asterisk.
' The temperature range for the SPLP extraction was 20-25°C.
Sample 991821-3 was diluted for selenium due to matrix interferences.
The MDL has been raised for this dilution.
Samples 991821-1 and 991821-2 required a dilution to accurately
' determine total inorganic carbon.
Sample 991821-2 required a dilution to accurately determine sulfate.
' Sample 991821-3 was diluted for anions by method 300.0 due to matrix
interferences. The MDLs have been raised for this dilution.
' This report has been amended from the report dated April 22, 1999 to
report a lower detection limit for thallium and to report the reanalysis
of sample 991821-6 for conductivity.
