<br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116,
<br />Pazagraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on February 25, 2003, an application to revise coal mining
<br />operations at the Seneca II-W Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was
<br />submitted by Seneca Coal Company. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations
<br />initiate from this date of filing.
<br />This revision provides an As-Built report and certification for Haul Road 3 at the Seneca II-W Mine.
<br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles south of Hayden. The permit azea is
<br />further described as follows:
<br />TSN, R88W; All of Section 15; Portions of Sections 4, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 34, and 35
<br />T6N, R88W; Portions of Sections 14, 23 and 24
<br />T6N, R87W; Portions of Sections 17, 18, 19
<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land aze shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Hayden Gulch, Hayden,
<br />Dunckley, & Mt. Hams.
<br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete.
<br />At the time of publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at
<br />the Routt County Courthouse, P.O. Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office. For
<br />additional information or to provide written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215,

<br />In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted within fifteen (15)
