~ ~ ~ EXHIBIT c
Water Informatio
EXHIBIT "C"
WATER INFORMATION
ANTELOPE HILL ;RAVEL PIT
'this gravel mining operation, due to location and mining processes, will not
~~isturb any surface or ground water nor will any pollutants be discharged into any
'water source.
'There are no known aquifers on site.
The mining process includes initially ripping the soil above the gravel deposit,
,trenching and filling with water to loosen the deposit and reduce the dust
iassociated with the mining process. The water is obtained from various ditches
within the County. This water is hauled from the ditches using County equipment
to the mining site for absorption.
'Total annual consumption of water at this site is approximately 60,000 gallons and
is obtained from the ditch companies by means of verbal trade agreements.
There will be no water consumption for reclamation purposes since seeding
recommendations are for native species planted in the fall to winter for spring
growth.
