There are no water rights with the land.
The reclamation plan is as follows:
(a) When areas of mining are complete, the pit area, gravel
storage areas and access routes will be disked or ripped to a depth of
at least twelve (12) inches with spacing of no more than twelve (12)
inches.
(b) The present land use is rangeland, stony saltdesert. Post
mining land use, as compared to other land uses will remain
basically the same.
(c) Any pit walls, if applicable, will be sloped to existing
contours not to exceed 3:1 ratio.
(d) Top soil, when available, will be removed to a depth of two
(2) to three (3) feet, stockpiled and stabilized as recommended by
the Soil Conservation District. Stockpiled topsoil will be spread
over the area to a depth of from ten (10) to twelve (12) inches.
(e) Seed mixture, as recommended by the Soil Conservation
District will be hand broadcast followed by dragging to cover seed.
The reclamation of the gravel pit area and associated disturbed areas will be
accomplished with County earthmoving equipment in use at the site and will be a
continuing process; as each area of mining is completed it will be backfilled,
;graded and sloped to conform to existing contours. Total acreage disturbed at any
,one time will be approximately 12 - 20 acres.
