The Division <br />inspected the site on June 28, 2000 and observed rock being tossed over the cliff, outside the permit azea. The <br />site is permitted by Chester Bamazd/Barnazd Quames and is operated by Randy Purdue. New rock rubble was <br />observed along the perimeter of the cliff and approximately 25 feet to 30 feet outside the permit boundary. <br />SERIOUSNESS <br />Administrative, describe - None <br />Onsite damage, describe - None <br />Offsite damage, describe - Rock rubble was pushed outside the permit azea in selected aeeas, approximately 25 <br />feet to 30 feet outside the permit boundary down the face of the cliff. <br />Health or safety hazard, describe - No safety hazazd to the homes below at this point in time. The two closest <br />homes aze 1,800 feet and 2,100 feet away from the disturbance. <br />STATUTE(S) VIOLATED AND DESCRIPTION <br />Failing to protect areas outside of the affected area from slides or damage during mining and reclamation <br />operations in violation of 34-32.5-116(4)(1). <br />HISTORY OF VIOLATIONS <br />a.
