When
the certified copies are received they will be forwarded to the Division,
Also attached are copies of water analysis data from surface water sampling
conducted at Trapper Mine on 3/6/90 as you requested. As expected, the TSS
values exceeded the discharge limitations for daily maximums in No-Name
drainage. Additionally, Johnson Gulch and West Buzzard Gulch drainages also
exceeded the daily TSS concentration requirement. However, due to the associ-
ation of this discharge with snow melt, a settleable solids criteria is the
effluent parameter used to determine maximum concentrations of discharge at
these sites. All settleable solid analysis associated with all sampling loca-
tions were <.2 ml/1/hr which is well below the daily maximum of .5 m1/1/h as
stated in our Colorado Waste Water Discharge Permit.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
S inc e~ ly ,
~~~~~~~~
William Agnew
Sr. Environmental Engineer
WA/jb
[CMLRD\APR03]
~II ~I~II~II~II~~III
999
;;"~r'R 9 i990
~i1NkD LA~'7L~
,Z~CLA~4ATION QI'~'''' _,~~
Enclosure
c: J.M.
