Since this renewal closely follows a recent permit
revision and a complete review of the bond, there are only a few minor issues that need to be resolved.
Some discrepancies/errors need to be corrected on Map 2.04.7-I-A. GW-N26 is not depicted on
the map, however, there are two locations for GW-N27.
2. Well GW-N16P1 is listed on this map as abandoned, however, results of data obtained from
monitoring appear in the Annual Hydrology Report. One or the other is incortect.
On revised page 2.03-3, Western Fuels states that Tri-State Generation and Transmission
Association, Inc. owns 99% of Westem Fuels Colorado. The definition of "owner and controller"
noted in Rule l .04(83a) is owing of record in excess of 50% of an entity. All owners and
controllers of the applicant need to comply with the requirements of Rule 2.03.4. The owner and
controllers of Tri-State need to be listed in the permit, with dre title of the person's position and
date position was assumed.
Should you have any questions or are in need of additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely. ~~ (~ vt'rl J
\CJ• ~ 1 ~ (I~ q~
Harry B.
