The revision was
called complete on August 5, 2005. The decision due date is October 4, 2005.
In Technical Revision No. 46, Bowie Resources LLC is proposing to stop the quarterly in:;pections at the old
coat mine waste disposal site. This approximately one acre site was reclaimed in 1988 with a soil and
vegetative cover and has not shown any geotechnical or erosional stability problems. The old coal mine
waste disposal site is located at the Bowie No. 1 East Mine, on land managed by the Bureau of Land
Management, and is just to the southeast of the partially reclaimed but still active Wert Ridge coal mine
waste disposal site.
This revision is available for review at the Paonia Public Library, 140 Grand Avenue, Paonia, CO 81428.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~.
osep J.
