A check for the $188.00 processing fe$~i~""
enclosed. ~"6~-
The changes we would like permission to make will allow Rio Blanco County to more
efficiently mine the permitted area and will not significantly alter the reclamation plan
other than increase the size of the pond by about 1 acre.
We have included maps that explain the proposed changes. We will mine in an easterly
direction. Overburden will be placed in the western portion of the existing pond area.
Topsoil will be placed along the perimeter of the pit and reclaimed at a 3:1 slope. The
locations of stockpiled crushed material will be placed in the most practical areas as the
operation progresses. A final reclamation plan map is also included showing the final
contours of the new pond which will be approx. 5.2 acres.
Thank you for your consideration. Please let us know if we need to provide any other
information.
Sincerely,
David P. Morlan, rec r
Rio Blanco County Road & Bridge Dept.
