Echo Gold's Mackey Mine permit is scheduled for revocation at the August 26-27 1998 meeting
of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for non-pa}'ment of amtual permi~ees. Echo
Gold ;'orp. currently owes an annual tee due May 14, 1997 jrt the amount of $225 00, a civil
penalty assessed on !vtarch 24, 1998 in the amount of $225.00, and an annual fee e (V1ay 14,
1998 in the amount of $225.00. If these overdue fees and civil penalty, in the tots amount of
$675.00, are paid prior to the August J_6-?.7, 1998 hearing, the permit revocation a~hon will be
withdrawn.
Once the permit is back in goud standing, it may be transferred. 1 have enclused t~e Succession of
Operators form for your use in applying for a permit transfer. I have also enclose a performarLCe
warranty form, which must be executed by the new operator in order to complete ~ permit transfer,
and a financial warranty form for a Certificate of Deposit. If the new operator wants to post some
other type of bond, e.g. a Letter of Credit or Corporate Surety, please contact the L~ivrsion fer the
appropriate forms.
