As of January 19, 1993, the Notice of Violation <br />has been abated, however, the matter of vacating the civil <br />penalty is still scheduled before the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board for Wednesday, January 27, 1993. If you wish to withdraw <br />consideration by the Board, please notify the Division no later <br />than Tuesday, January 26, 1993, morning. <br />Pertaining to the Succession of Operators - Permit Transfer <br />application, the transfer of the permit from Great Guennol Gold <br />Mining Co., Ltd. to Shalako International, Inc. was approved on <br />August 12, 1992. The Division sent letters to transfer the <br />permit (as instructed by the transfer application) to <br />Mr. Lee Campbell of Shalako International, Inc. and to <br />Mr. Frank J. Anesi, Attorney for Great Guennol Gold <br />Mining Co., Ltd. I have enclosed copies of the application and <br />the letters to Mr. Campbell and Mr. Anesi for your records. <br />At this time all mailings and annual fee notices will be mailed <br />to Shalako International, Inc., C/0 Mr. Don Demarest, P.O. Box <br />67, Hesperus, Colorado 81326. The Division at this time has <br />five (5) different addresses for Shalako Intl, please notify this <br />office, in wrtting, if the above address is incorrect and what is <br />the correct mailing and notification address for Shalako. <br />If you have any questions, please contact this office. <br />Sincerely, <br />Barbara D.
