All review and comment periods <br />as provided in the Colorndo Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of filing. <br />Bear Coal Company, Inc. proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located <br />approximately 0 miles East of Somerset, Colorado. The permit azea is further described as follows: <br />Portions of SeMions 8, 9, and 15; all of Section l6; portions of Sections 17, 18, 20, and 21 Township l3 South, Range 90 West <br />of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Somerset. <br />Bear Coal Company, Inc proposes to continue reclamation operations on land located near the town of Somerset, Colorado. <br />The Bear No. 3 mine is an underground coal mine that is in permanent cessation. The permit renewal is for another five year <br />term. <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Gunnison County Clerk and Recorder, 200 E. <br />Virginia, Gunnison, CO 81230, and at the Division office.
