Well, when the miners information <br />came in, then had all kinds of requirements that all <br />permissible equipment, everything permissible and things <br />that I couldn't afford to buy. So I just decided to <br />forget about it. <br />p What did you do? When did you quit? In '77 <br />did you say? <br />A We11, I went back to work to get coal mostly <br />for my own use after that. <br />Q That's legal, isn't it? <br />A Well, I went to Denver, me and my son, and we <br />got it appointed us, a permit to get 250 ton a year for <br />my own use and my family's use. That's all I was <br />working. <br />Q You have a coal fired furnace at home? <br />A Yes. <br />Q So what sort of mining equipment did you use <br />to get your coal then? <br />A Well, most of them was -- everything was <br />heywork.
