As you <br />are aware, item 1 of 4 of this letter addresses the use of a filter <br />fabric on the refuse disposal area underdrains. <br />Although not currently addressed in the permit, WFC has been <br />using tY~is type of material on the underdrains since their <br />inception. This revision simply up-dates diagrams and permit <br />language to include the use of a filter fabric. <br />Items which have been up-dated for inclusion into the permit <br />include t:he following: <br />- Pg. 2.05-33 <br />- Figure 8, New Elk Prep Plant <br />Page 2.05-33 has been revised to include language referencing <br />the use of filter fabric while figure 8 now shows filter fabric <br />placed on top of the underdrain rock. <br />If you have any questions on this matter, please feel free to <br />contact me. <br />Stuart Francone <br />Environmental Coordinator <br />Encl. <br />NEMR38 <br />
