Banta. <br />Drv~sion Duedor <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on <br />January 13, 1992, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct <br />coal mining operations, File No. C-81-048 (TR - 009>, by Trinidad Basin <br />Mining, Route 1, Box 300, Barbourville, KY 40906, was deemed complete for the <br />purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act <br />and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. The <br />revision proposes to leave sediment ponds as permanent impondments on the <br />residential portion of the permit area. <br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations on S 1/2 of <br />the N 1/2 and the S 1/2 of Section 15; NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 21, and <br />all of Section 22, T31S, R65W of the 6th P.M. in Las Animas County, Colorado. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map <br />of Del Agua and Trinidad. A copy of the technical revision application is <br />available for public inspection at the Las Animas County Courthouse, First St <br />& Maple Street, Trinidad, CO.
