The proposed revision adds
a portion of Section 5, TSN, R90W of the 6th P. M., to the
existing permit area. The area proposed for addition is within
Federal Lease #C-079641. No mining, only exploration, activities
are proposed in the technical revision area.
Consultation with BLM indicated that drilling permission is not
required by BLM for Leased Federal Coal within the Trapper mine
permit boundary. Therefore, once the TR area is added to the
existing approved permit area, exploration drilling activities
will be regulated by the Colorado MLRD as per 30 CFR Chapter vII
and the approved State program.
Should you have any further question, please contact Rick
Williamson at (303) 844-2939.
Sincerely,
~w~:-~.,, ~ . ,
Ranvir Singh, C~h
Federal Lands Branch
cc: Steve Bennett/BLM/Craig Office
