<br />PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />Somerset Mining Company, P.O. Box 535, Somerset, CO, has submitted an
<br />application for a Technical Revision, to the Division of Minerals and
<br />Geology, for its Somerset and Sanborn Creek Mines, mining permit No. C-
<br />81-022. The proposed revision will clarify the sediment control used for
<br />small area exemptions and update the facilities description in the
<br />permit. The mine site is located north of the town of Somerset, CO. The
<br />North Fork of the Gunnison River is located south of the town of
<br />Somerset. The mine permit areas are located on the U.S. Geological
<br />Survey 7.5 minute Bowie and Somerset Quadrangle maps.
<br />The Somerset Coal Mine permit area is located in portions of the
<br />following described lands.
