The shrublands <br />are more accurately described in Appendix SS, Baseline Vegetation Survey in the <br />permit application. <br />Shrub diversities and heights have been identified for each of the study areas in <br />the baseline vegetation survey. The following woody plant densities are proposed <br />for the different shrublands being re-established on reclaimed areas designated as <br />Greasewood/Shadscale Shrubland, Shadscale Shrubland or Greasewood Shrubland. <br />Greasewood Shrubland Woody Plant Densit,~ <br />One thousand plants (stems) per acre consisting of black greasewood <br />(Sarcobatus vermiculatus) and rubber rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus <br />nauseosus). <br />Shadscale Shrubland Woody Plant Density <br />Eight Hundred Plants (stems) per acre consisting of s.hadscale (Atriplex <br />confertifolia). <br />Greasewood/Shadscale Shrubland Woody Plant Density <br />One thousand plants (stems per acre consisting of black greasewood <br />(Sarcobatus vermiculatus), Shadscale (Atriplex confertifolia) broom <br />snakeweed (Gutierrezia sarothrae). <br />POWDERHORN COAL COMPANY • P.O.
