and reclamation activities, as proposed, will have "no negative effect" on
their utility.
As previously stated, the gas well and meter houses lie outside the area to be
directly affected by mining. Houston Exploration (owner of the gas well and
meter houses) has indicated they will provide a letter of no negative effect.
Highline Electric Association (owner of power line) were given notice of the
proposed mine. After inspection, they have also indicated they will be
providing a letter showing no negative effect.
Please also ensure that all utility owners (i.e. gas, power, roads) are notified of the
application in accordance with Rule ].6.2{1)(e)(ii), and submit proof in the form
of returned receipts or proof of personal services.
Proof of notification was provided by certified mail to the Yuma County
Commissioners who control roads in Yuma County. They received a full
copy of the application. Yuma County has also approved the pit in their
local Iand use process, indicating no concerns about impact of the pit on the
adjoining roadway. Houston Exploration and Highline Electric were notified
by letter. A signed proof of service from both entities is attached.
Please let me know if additional information is needed.
