Mr. Oswald may be notified by delivering notice to: <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />ATTN: Bob Oswald <br />Room 215 <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />or by telefax at (303) 832-8106. <br />Copies of any such natice should also be transmitted to the three parties <br />specifically identified above by close of business on Wednesday, January 18, 1995. <br />Notice may be delivered to United Companies of Mesa County either at its <br />Grand Junction, Colorado office, or at the Manager's office at the Colona Pit which <br />is the subject of this application. <br />To the extent that evidence is submitted on the following issues, the Prehearing <br />Conference Officer recommends It be heard, as these matters are believed to be <br />within the authority and jurisdiction of the Mined Land Reclamation Board; <br />a. Wildlife and wildlife habitat particularly eagles, deer, and elk. <br />b. Noise and vibration. <br />c. Blowing dust from stockpiles. <br />d. Potential damage to manmade structures withir, 200' <br />e. Potential adverse effects on quality and quantity of water in adjacent <br />well. <br />2 <br />
