Dear Mr. Nettleton:
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has completed another
preliminazy adequacy review (PAR) of the subject Technical Revision application (TR-
60) after receipt of you information under a cover letter of May 24, 2007.
Item 1. Rule 2.05.4(2)(b). A reclamation estimate of $9,700 was submitted with the
application. The estimate submitted is acceptable to the Division. The estimate for
reclamation prepared by the Division was $5,007. By telephone call of May 31, 2007, the
Division estimate will become part of the application.
Item 2. A presentation on small area exemptions (SAE) begins on page 2.05-79.1
(09/07/05. MROS-197). The 18-Right Ventilation Shaft (TR04-44) site is discussed on
page 2.05-84 (07/2/05, MROS-194). The 18-Right Ventilation Shaft (TR04-44) section is
duplicated in the TR07-60 application on revised page 2.05-84.2 of 05/22/07. Note also
that the new insertion is under the (5) Topsoil section of unchanged page 2.05-84.1
(07/2/05, MROS-194). Please repaginate the section to eliminate duplication, keep the 18•
Right Ventilation Shaft in the SAE section, and place the underflow line project in the
SAE section.
Item 3. Please change so much of the 18-Right Ventilation Shaft (TR04-44) section that
reads "(Exhibit 5, April 2004)" to read "(Exhibit 5, Apri12005 to Exhibit 8T)".
Item 4. Please refine the description of work on revised page 2.05-84.2 to include
segregation and replacement of topsoil during the underflow pipeline trench excavation
and backfill, and the salvage of topsoil from the borehole pad azea (Rule 4.06).
