The permit is due to expire on December 12, 1995. The mine permit number is C-89-074. <br />These responses were made as a result of your letter to Mark Kerr dated October 20, ] 995. Some <br />items of note regarding your letter are listed below: <br />Item 10 refers to an error on Page 7 of Section 2.05.6.3.2 that the collection ditch flow depth is 99 <br />feet. Since this sentence referred to Collection Ditch #2, on the east side of Engleville Gulch; the <br />sentence has been removed since mining never occurred in this area and the ditch was never <br />installed. <br />Item 16 refers to adding SAE 5 and the access road and its diversion ditch to Exhibit KK. Exhibit KK <br />should remain in the permit without changes since it contains the original design hydrology which <br />included ditches and the sediment pond. All updated information such as ditches, reclaimed areas, <br />etc. are included on Exhibit KK-1. All future changes/revisions should be shown on Exhibit KK-1. <br />Item 17 refers to the Martinez and Medina Ditch in Section 32 of T33S and R63W. This ditch is not <br />within one mile of the permit area, therefore, it has not been listed on Exhibit AA. <br />Afrer the enclosed revised page 6 of Section 2.05.6.3.2 Surface Water, all subsequent existing pages <br />should be removed.
