evised February 17, 1995 <br />The legal or equitable owners of record of the property to be mined or <br />affected by surface operations and facilities incidental thereto are: <br />Colowyo, State of Colorado and Bureau of Land Management <br />The legal or equitable owner of record of the coal to be mined is the <br />United States of America and the State of Colorado. Colowyo is the <br />holder of Federal Coal Lease No. D-034365, C-35874 and C-29224 and State <br />of Colorado Coal Lease 257-135. <br />The surface and mineral ownership in the permit and adjacent areas is <br />graphically shown on the Surface Ownership Map (Map 1) and the Coal <br />Ownership Map (Map 2). <br />Colowyo is the only holder of record of any leasehold interest in the <br />property to be mined or to be affected by surface operations and <br />facilities incidental thereto. <br />Any purchaser of record under a real estate contract of the property to <br />be mined is the same as the applicant, Colowyo. <br />Colowyo is both the applicant for the permit and the operator of the <br />mine. <br />The resident agent of Colowyo who will accept service of process, <br />including the telephone number, is as follows: <br />CT Corporation System <br />1675 Broadway <br />Denver, Colorado 80202 <br />(303) 629-2500 <br />Colowyo Coal Company L.P. will remit all required AML fees. <br />Colowyo is a limited partnership duly authorized to do business in the <br />State of Colorado. Effective December 6, 1994, Kennecott Colorado Coal <br />Company, a Delaware corporation, became the sole general partner of <br />Colowyo Coal Company L.P.
