We are unable to take any action at this time
because the Minerals Program has not been funded since July 1, 1987. This
status could change in the middle of August when the Legislature reconvenes if
action is completed to authorize expenditure of funds for the Mined Land
Reclamation Minerals Program.
Please be advised that the statute and regulations governing mined land
reclamation are still in place and applicable. Tf you remitted a check
(money) with your submittal, it is being returned with this letter. If action
to fund the program is completed by the Legislature in August, reactivation of
your request will require submittal of a letter and an applicable check.
Si ncRrely, ~, ~.,
~ " l ~' ~
;;;
Edward L.
